Due to coronavirus a lot of us are forced to stay at home. This may become stressful and annoying. However, we as crocheters are lucky to have the most relaxing hobby we can do at home. Crochet is known for its capability to relieve stress and make women happy. Believe me, I´ve felt this on my very own skin.
When I started with amigurumi 10 years ago, I was a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids. As you can probably guess, the joy of children came hand in hand with a significant amount of stress. On tougher days, crochet was my moment of sunshine. So I´m thinking, why not let crochet help us through these rough times as well!
WHAT WILL I DO?
I will put a 60% discount on 4 patterns every week until the end of May! This means during the next 9 weeks 36 patterns will have an incredible price.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Stay at home, crochet and keep calm! And check this page every week for new discount information.
NB! Due to the situation in the world, it`s wiser to buy craft supplies online, without leaving the house. There are lots of yarn stores probably in every country and many of them offer online ordering as well.
In this post I am going to introduce 3 amigurumi patterns and 1 crochet pattern of this week. Here they are!
SISSY BUNNY
Sissy Bunny is the biggest bunny I have ever designed. He is about 52 cm / 20.5 in when measured with the ears up. His ears are giant and he has those cute sad eyes. I´ve combined merino wool for the body, and cotton for the trousers and slippers. Mix and match the colors of the fabric with the colors of the clothing to get the best result! One more thing, he comes with the instructions for the tiny amigurumi carrot as well.
BUG RATTLES
Bug rattles is a triplet amigurumi pattern. You can crochet 3 different bugs using a single pattern: the bee, the caterpillar and the gorgeous butterfly. It`s probably my most popular rattle pattern of all times!
If you`re making these for babies, try using organic cotton which is the purest and safest for their sensitive skin. You may also consider embroidering eyes instead of using safety eyes.
MISS BUNNY
Miss Bunny is one of my first amigurumi bunny patterns. The instructions got a little refreshment in 2018. Miss Bunny is wearing a red-hot lacy dress and a flower embellishment. She`s a great companion for playing and cuddling. Due to the construction she can sit nicely.
You can play with the pattern and attach the ears upright to get a different look!
FIELD FLOWERS
Field flowers crochet pattern includes the instructions for 3 flower designs: cornflower, daisy and poppy. With these flowers you can embellish pretty much anything starting with a spring wreath, napkin holders, hair accessories or amigurumi toys.
PS! Did you know cornflower is an Estonian national flower?
Don`t forget that all these patterns will have a discount only for a short period of time. New patterns coming next Monday.
If you`ve picked some from here, share the photos of your makes on Instagram using #stayathome, #crochetastherapy and #lilleliispattern.
Let`s crochet the world a more beautiful place!
