Crochet baby play gym toys inspired by the Montessori Munari concept.
In the first weeks of life, babies perceive contrast rather than color. That’s why, according to the Montessori method, black and white toys are the most suitable for the first six weeks.
This crochet set includes three primordial elements – the sun, the moon, and the star. To offer the eye something to catch and distinguish, I’ve used stripe and dot motifs and aimed to create a well-balanced color scheme.
Inside the sun, there’s a small piece of crinkle material to provide gentle sound stimulation and spark the baby’s curiosity.
The toys are made from organic cotton yarn, gentle on the baby’s delicate skin. They are filled with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill.
