New puppy pattern under construction

You probably know I´ve been book writing during the past year. Yes, a new book is coming in autumn :) Well, now the designing part is done and we`re working on the texts and photography. So that leaves me a little time to crochet something new. It’s been too long since I wrote a pattern for my online shop. I feel rusty. The work is progressing very slowly, but at least it does! So here`s the new amigurumi puppy dog I am currently making and writing a pattern of.
He is a cousin of Meow cat. Maybe you can see the similarity on the head shape. I´ve developed the body so it`s not that similar anymore, but for me they`re still the same family.
I decided to write the pattern with cotton yarn and I´m glad I did, because Rowan Handknit Cotton I am using brings every shape out so beautifully. It`s a really enjoyable yarn to work with. Holds a nice shape and is extremely durable.
My puppy is still missing the vest, but I promise he will get is soon and the pattern will be ready for testing.
