This is Doris, my new teddy bear. I made her using one of my favourite yarns consisting of pure wool and alpaca.
Doris is a vintage looking bear with removable romantic dress. However, I wanted her to look pretty without the dress as well, that`s why I made panties. Both the underpants and shoes are embellished with small slip knots.
I only used three colors to give her a simple and a bit old look. The dress came out one size too big, so I will have to make some adjustments there. The teddy bear herself is a bit over 30 cm (about 12 inches) tall.
The dress is fastened with two little flower buttons on the back.
I´ve already started the next bear of the same type. Didn`t get enough of her! :)
