Finally, the third ragdoll princess is ready! She totally surprised me with colors. I never imagined such a combo for the dress. But let me start from the beginning.
I crocheted this doll to check the design once more to make sure everything works well before I start photographing the pattern. As I already explained in my previous post, I´ve recently tried to use as much existing yarn as possible. So when I started picking the colors for the third princess there wasn`t much to choose from. I needed an entire skein of yarn for the dress and the purplish blue was the only color I had. First I thought I´d mix it with a little bit of gray and add some white ruffles, but when I got to that part I felt white color didn`t fit it very well so I replaced it with pink.
I was afraid it would turn out too colorful, but actually the more I looked at it the more I fell in love with the color combination. How do you like it?
I tried different yarn for the hair as well. This time it`s Drops Lace. It`s much thinner than the yarns I´ve used previously, so I made the hair in 3 layers and really love the result. Perhaps I would have wanted a little lighter shade of beige, but overall I like the super natural feel of this yarn and it`s my favorite so far.
Now up to pattern writing.
Any thoughts about this princess?

I’m loving the new princess 👸 Mari-Liis and I think that the colors in her dress are beautiful!
I have been saving my Safari Prize for the release of this pattern. Do you think you will have it released prior to the end of August?
Thanks, Debbi! I hope to publish the pattern in July. It`s almost ready.
Excellent! I’m very anxious to get started on her! I just finished making “Doris” the old fashioned teddy bear and she is so adorable. Definitely my favorite doll/toy that I have made to date. Though Froggy is a very close second! Love her too. Your patterns bring me so much joy. Thank you Mari-Liis 😊
The other two you made where princesses, this one is a Queen!
Love the doll
