In the end of last year I started working on some new rattles. I had made caterpillars before, but now I developed it further.
I made quite many of them. They are so sweet, I just couldn`t stop! They have such lovely smiley faces and nosy character.
These rattles are a fantastic gift for newborn. They are simple to make and work up so quickly. Little babies can start playing with them as soon as they start grabbing things. Rattles are soft and their bright colors catch babies attention.
I also found a great way to crook their body so they became even cuter. But as you can see from the photo above, they are sweet without it too! Experimenting with different colors and yarns was a lot of fun.
I made butterfies and bees too and will show them to you in another blog post.
Hi , I just purchased your Magical Amigurumi Toys and Cuddly Toys books. I am very excited to make the catipillar. I love the new design how it is curved. The book does not have this☹️ Is there a revision or update for the pattern?

I´m happy you`ve found my books! Unfortunately the curved body option is included only in the pdf version of the pattern, because I invented it later.

I have completed your butterfly pattern except for the wings. I am having trouble understanding how to join the tips and complete the wing. I’m a beginner to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Wish this were on a video!

These bugs are about 17 cm. However, as the caterpillar is curved, then it is a bit smaller. You will find more information here:

I guess you found a link at Pinterest. Unfortunately someone has shared misleading information there. It is a premium pattern, which you`ll need to buy.
