New amigurumi pattern – Meow cat

“Meow cat” pattern is live now!

As soon as I finished my first yellow cat, I knew I want to write a pattern of it. It`s interesting how you sometimes get that feeling instantly and sometimes not at all. I´ve been trying to understand why it`s so and have discovered, that for me it`s all about the perfection if the design. If I love the design and feel it`s absolutely complete (so I wouldn`t add, remove or change anything), then I´m ready to write a pattern. But if I have any question marks, I simply cannot do it until I`ve solved these things for myself. This basically means I will have to crochet it over and over, until I´m satisfied with every detail.

But what comes to “Meow cat” design, this kind and friendly looking cat and those awesome colors were just perfect from the beginning. And because I know there is a lack of sweet cat patterns, I thought it must be released as soon as possible :)

I didn`t make any changes to the boy version of the cat. However, I felt that there has to be a girl too, so I quickly invented a cute girl`s outfit and included that in the same pattern.

The pattern is marked as intermediate, but making the boy is rather easy, because you only need single crochet. The girl`s clothing is somewhat more complicated and you`ll need double crochet as well.
