Finally I wrote down the pattern of amigurumi moon fairy doll. She was designed a year ago (blogged here). It`s a beautiful crochet dreamcatcher baby gift. Perfect for decorating the nursery room of a newborn girl.
This is design is made of two pieces – an amigurumi doll, plus a moon-shaped crochet dreamcatcher. Both can be used separately as well. But if you want to make it as a set, you need to attach the doll to the frame, so it can`t be taken off anymore.
Without the frame, the doll measures about 27 cm (10.6 in). She has flexible legs.
I chose Ricorumi DK cotton for this project, because it`s a well-loved yarn and has beautiful colors perfect for this project.
The pattern is in an advanced skill level, but I´d say the doll itself is rather intermediate. It`s the moon frame that makes this pattern more complicated, especially attaching the doll to it. But when it`s done, it feels like WOW!!!
Pattern soon in my amigurumi doll patterns selection.
I have a great grand daughter due next month. Oh I would love to get this pattern for her room. I love it and am so excited. Thank you for all the things you make.
Thank you Alice for your kind words! I hope to release the pattern in a few days, and am totally excited to hear someone is waiting for it so much.
