I want to show you a cute amigurumi monkey girl. Making her is super easy! All you need is Mambo the Monkey pattern, and my free crochet bow tutorial to make this cute safari monkey.
I love to use fabric on my amigurumis and cover their feet or ears. This particular monkey has my old shirt on her feet :) You will find the full guide for covering the legs with fabric in the pattern, plus you may check out my best tips for working with fabric.
Recently we made these monkeys in a crochet along where several people said they were afraid of using fabric on crochet, or that they even didn`t like the idea of doing it. But after they actually tried it, many of them really enjoyed this new skill and were happy with the clear instructions in the pattern. So I really want to encourage everyone to give it a try. It might be your new favorite trick!
