Crochet bear motif – easy to make and provides lots of fun ways to use.
I created the first bear motif to patch a hole in my child’s school cardigan. Using woolen yarn, I made a cute applique that lasted through the school year.
Crochet bear motifs are versatile and can add charm to a variety of items. Use them to decorate sweaters, hats, T-shirts or other clothing. They also make adorable bunting for home decor, especially in a baby’s room. Great gift idea for those who love to make handmade gifts!

About the pattern:
- Work in closed rounds. This means you will attach the last stitch of the round to the first stitch of the round with a slip stitch.
- If using the motifs for making a bunting, it`s important to keep the back side of the work nice and neat as well. Make sure to hide all yarn tails carefully and unnoticeably.
- Make appliques stronger and flat by starching them. Tutorial here.
