Welcome to Amigurumi blind Christmas CAL Part 6. This is the last day and we are going to assemble the toy. So much fun ahead!
If you missed the previous posts, then here you can find Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 and Part 5 where we made all the necessary pieces, 9 in total.
Today you`ll only need the darning needle and scissors and you`re ready to start.
!!! If you happen to be one of those who always struggle sewing amigurumi parts together, then please check out my tutorial about how to sew different pieces.
Step 1
Stuff the hat and sew on top of the body. The seam won`t show if using the back loops of the last round which are hidden inside the hat.
Step 2
Place two gray rounds as ears on both sides of the hat. Sew them in place with a couple of stitches.
Step 3
Embroider a nose with black yarn.
Step 4
Stuff the legs and sew to the body, at about 2 rounds from the bottom.
Step 5
Use color C to embroider the belt and a buckle. Use short back stitches to create lines between rounds 26-27 and 28-29. Embroider the buckle on the front. A video guide can be found here.
Step 6
Sew the arms on the body about a round higher than the coat. Attach the arms to the body from a couple of rounds lower as well.
Step 7
Sew the tail at the back of the body.
Step 8
Add 2 tiny buttons to the coat and say hello to Santa Mouse!
Did you enjoy the CAL? Did you guess right what we´re making?
Remember to add #AmigurumiBLINDcal and #lilleliispattern if you share your project on Instagram.
See you in the future in a new crochet adventure!

Such a cute mouse and a great activity. I had the whole family guessing and waiting for the next piece. Thank you for bringing joy to the crocheting community. You have taken what is a solitary activity to a group event. Can’t wait for the next one!
I´m so happy to read this! Thanks, Evelyn, for taking part, with your entire family :)
Thank you for the cal! It was fun to do. I finshed santa mouse one day late because I don’t have so much time to crochet with our little toddler :)
Absolutely adorable little mouse! Thank you for the CAL. It was lots of fun. I really appreciated the fast pace. Although it did mean I had to scramble to keep up, the daily speed meant that I was able to keep momentum going.
Thank you, thank you!
Thanks for taking part, Josianne! I agree, those quick and short CALs have their own fun moment.
Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity for us crocheters to feel connected!! It was my very first CAL and I know it won’t be the last without a doubt! I’ve learned a couple of new techniques and tricks thanks to your tutorials😊 Thanks so much again xoxo
Wonderful! I´m glad you joined us!
This was so much fun! A quick and easy project. I guessed mouse after the step where we made the ears, but it was fun to see how each part was revealed each day. The finished product is so cute! I love your pattern and have purchased several of them. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us!
Thanks, Toni! I´m so happy you took part.
Dziękuję za wzór, super zabawa. Pozdrawiam serdecznie 🙂
Thank you so very much for another joyous CAL! I’ve had great fun stitching along with you and the CAL group this week and it has been a nice diversion from the miseries of the ongoing pandemic situation we are all dealing with. A visit with you and your kind nature and a taste of the Christmas spirit is just what I needed! I love my new “Santa “Mouse” toy ❤️

Hermoso Ratón Santa, gracias por compartir!♥️🥰🥰🥰
Hi Lilleliis,
By any chance, was the last round of the ears (Part 2) supposed to be 30 sc into the back post only?
That’s the only thing I can think of went wrong with the ears because mines came out flat.
Any help is truly appreciated! =)
Never mind! I just realized I was overthinking it and just noticed the ears are sewn with right- side facing the front of the mouse.
I´m glad you solved this. So happy you took part!
Lovely! I was hoping for a mouse and so versatile! Already thinking of ways to change him up for all the holidays. Thank you so very much for sharing your talent and pattern with us!
Big thank you!!!
Je mets la touche finale avec la ceinture 👍🏽😀🎅🏻
I love all of your CAL’s. I’ve participated in all from 2020 so far. My 4 year old thought I was making humpty dumpty and then saw the other pieces and told me it was Mickey Mouse. He knew it was Santa though. Such a fun Christmas CAL.
Thank you, Melissa! I´m glad you joined us and really hope your daughter loves the Santa Mouse.
