It`s already the third month of Amigurumi Rainbow Bunny Crochet Challenge. Can you believe it?! Thanks so much for sharing your red Valentine-inspired bunnies on Instagram.
The color of March is light green. Scroll down to read about how to use the color of the month.
If you haven`t heard about the crochet challenge yet, then here`s more information for you.
This crochet challenge is about crocheting cute bunnies, but even more it`s about challenging yourself in combining the colors.
Let me explain 3 possible ways to approach the color of the month.
- Use it as the main color. For example, if the color of the month is light blue, make a light blue bunny, choose a contrasting color for the eye patches and the tail, and add some colorful fabric to spice it all up.
- Use it as the contrasting color. Let`s say the color of the month is purple. Perhaps you don`t like purple too much, so you don`t want to make a purple bunny. Use it as the contrasting color for making the eye patches and the tail. Find a main color that will match with purple, and bound it all together with a suitable fabric.
- Choose your own color. You don`t necessarily have to stick to the color of the month if it doesn`t inspire you.

Could you let me know what yarn and in what colour are you going to use to make your March bunny, please?
I don`t know yet! But thought of Drops Merino Extra Fine or Drops Lima in pistachio green. What are you planning to use?
I have ordered Sirdar Happy Cotton in Squeaky no 783, it was hard to find a nice light shade of green. This one is more like a light minty green (at least that’s what it looks like in photos).
Wow, this looks stunning! 782 Laundry looks great too. I`m not familiar with this yarn, but it has such a beautiful color chart.
It will be my first time using it, hope it’s nice to work with. And yes, Laundry is pretty too but I fell in love with Squeaky :)
