I was so happy when I received the customer order for making two Fluffy Sheep. The pattern is from the book Cuddly Amigurumi Toys. I made a couple of versions of this sheep when preparing the design for the book and was longing to make some more. I guess the universe heard me!

I started with such an eager and was really disappointed when I discovered the fabulous Drops Cloud yarn is discontinued. Combined with Drops Nepal they really made an awesome combo for making this sheep. However, I did have some leftover yarn of the book period. It was obvious it wasn`t enough to complete the toys but I decided to combine the yarns and do whatever I had to do, to get these sheep done.
The most logical thing to do was to make a striped body, and it worked. The dark lamb got brown hand-painted safety eyes, the white lamb got grayish-green eyes. I added buttons in a different size to the front, plus crocheted cute little bows to emphasize they`re boys.
