Celebrating Republic of Estonia 100 with some field flowers

My mind is spinning more and more around the 100th Republic Day of Estonia which is on 24th of February. I have started a special project which I´ve dreamt of many years. So happy I´m finally doing this! I started with making 3 crochet flowers that are really symbolic to me. In the summer you can see fields covered with them in Estonia. Here they are – our national flower, Cornflower.

I also got this idea of making cornflowers for our entire family for this very special day. I think they will look great on boy`s shirts or embellishing the girl`s hair clips. Now I must keep my hands busy to get ready for the big day!
