I created Lars the Dragon for my own son when he was just 4. It has been his very favorite ever since.

It`s in the perfect size for a toddler. Coolest details like the wings and bony plates on his back definitely attract boys. Dragon`s curved mouth is my kids favorite, because that`s where he spurts the fire!

Downloadable and easy to follow crochet pattern (PDF file). Step-by-step instructions with lots of photos to guide you through the making process.

Stitches needed: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet

SIZE AND MATERIALS

Size: about 24 cm / 9.5 in

The pattern uses 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook and Aran (10 ply) weight cotton yarn.

Loved the pattern. Got it in your book. Can you email me at janice23782@comcast.net I need some clarification on how to attach the neck and body to the head on starry-eyed sara. Can’t tell from the photos what angle they are attached and your description has me confused. Thanks.
